The free pack has 2 versions of each template both with or without adsense.   I don't understand what root templates are supposed to do and where they go versus domain templates?  Please explain and give some guidance.
thx

Blog templates go to /templates/ folder. Each template has it's own name and you need to upload the whole folders, as they are named. So you will have like /templates/template1/, /templates/template2/ and so on. You can upload all or some, as you wish.

Root templates goes in the root template folder, that is only one per domain and is located at /templates/index/domain.com (domain.com is a folder with the actual name of your domain). You need to only upload the files of a root template, not the whole folder (basically overwrite whatever exist already)

Ads or no ads version is up to you, is same templates basically.
