Pub ID

Seems that whenever I upload/add a new template, insert the pub ID and save it in notepad, (ftp, chmod, etc.) the pub ID is not found in the BS "Human View" 'new' template. Sometimes it shows up, mostly not. Why is this?

Also, when should a 'default google ad' stop showing up and content related ads do?

Make sure you update the pub id both in blog index template and in post template. Ad that your template does get overwrriten.

The google PSA should stop show in the next few minutes after you added a real adsense pub id, unless tehre are some stop words that force the PSA to show (words related to violence, rasism, etc.. there is some list of adsense stop words somehere..)
