I got sick and fustrated while making a bunch of custom templates for all these damn TBS sites. So I made a tool to do it for me.

Read the instructions carefully before using:
http://www.bluehatseo.com/cgi-bin/templatemaker.cgi

Enjoy guys!

To answer the questions you are bound to ask:
Yes I will be continuously updating this script to fit my own needs.

Yes I will make a version 2 that will have even better looking templates and incorporates images.

Yes, I will have a version that generates a defined number of templates and zips them up with images included. No, i'm not sure if i will make that version public.

Yes, I realize there is a market for creating these templates, and I will happily take down this script if any one of the staff asks me to. If you don't like the quality of the templates it generates please go to http://blogsolutiontemplates.com/ instead of excerting effort asking me to improve my script.

No, I will not offer support. It's pretty self explanitory.

No, you didn't see the same template twice. It literally has billions of combinations. You may run into two that look similair but I can assure you the html code is at least 15% different. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than to get two like templates on this script.

I'm not sure if I will update the preview to make it look as it would when it goes into the blog solution or not. At the moment it at least gives you the basic color scheme, which is all I need at the moment to choose or hit refresh. Eitherway the templates its generating are getting increasingly better looking, and for how randomized and how quick they are to make they are definitely exceeding my expectations on how nice they look once they are in Blog Solution.

Shortcuts...
Thanks for this!!! Very neat... you do have to refresh to get the colors that you like... but very quick and easy.

I would love to see something along the lines of having the ability to upload a background image.

Thanks for your efforts!

You're brilliant!  Thanks so much for creating this valuable tool for those of us non-developers!  Good karma and a contribution to you!

Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for all the compliments. I'm glad you got some use out of the tool. Thanks very much for the donations that a few of you have made(JHammer, thanks a ton for the donation.  when I get to the office on Monday I'll pm you a direct link to 500 unique generated templates, that are ready for ftping). Below I attached an example screenshot I made on a temporary blog on one of my sites for shortcuts.

Although these templates are good for being more diverse, one must remember that they are very basic and you must be somewhat savvy with Adsense and Yahoo to make sure your ads blend into the template.

This is why I created the custom templates that I sell for a nominal fee to cover my time to make them and maintain them, as I do offer support with them.  My templates are designed for proper blending, and also for the highest CTR for that type of ad according to the Adsense gurus of the industry. Check them out in signature below.

what does this have to do with the topic?

Make a new post..

Also you may want to get some background on how the internet works.

Start with how forums work http://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+use+forum&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

Thanks for not being so annoying.

another thing that bugs me.

Is your probably selling the same group of templates to everyone that buys those templates.

I kinda like the idea of having "unique" templates that no one else has. :p

Ya know part of that little thing called SEO.. We don't like to have the same "footprint" as everyone else. Cheesy

Not to mention i'm always against "thread hijaackers".

Could we please keep this thread talking about the free template generator and the related questions?
Anyone who would like to sell something please make your own thread.
Anyone who would like to bash on someone selling something, please create a reply to their thread.

Thanks

I have a real need to change the look and feel of my index domain!

and i am sure many would like to know how to do this!

Do you have an answer for this adjustment?

as we cannot just add the html in the edit section.

look forward to adding your special templates as offered.

thanks shortcuts

I just wanted to announce that these generated templates with the tool are averaging a 8.49% CTR rate with 2 adsense ads over the span of 2 weeks.  That is 500 seperate templates across 62 domains(31,000 templates), so the number should be fairly accurate of what to expect.  So incase anyone was wondering what kind of performance to expect. There are some things I could do to improve that performance, but i'll save them for a later version.
