Too bad I have a Godaddy hosting account and found out after buying the software that I can't use Godaddy's hosting services.

What company should I go with?  I don't want to waste any more time and money.

Sorry about that, but some host companies promise the earth and sea to the users, but "hide" all kind of restrictions in TOS. No host that promise unlimited "everything" will think of give you that. Nothing in this world is unlimited, there are always at least some physical limits.

So far is only Godaddy and Yahoo host that i know having high restrictions. RSSM is not even a resource eating script nore require some special settings. It will work on any decent shared plan, some hosts that will support it are hostgator.com, hostmonster.com, slhost.com to name just few.

You cna email me your rssm link and ftp to that domain on godaddy though, before get another host. Maybe is some other issue, although the changes are small.

Hey Omar,

I sent you my Godaddy login info the other day so you could look at my RSSM install.  Please go to my email and check the install for me.

I now have CuteFTP and everything worked like the video tutorial and text directions for install....but it's not working.

Maybe Godaddy server is the problem....damn

Did you sent a PM? I accidentally deleted them all, because my inbox was full and needed some space. Also, I do not see any email from you...

I am more then sur eis about godaddy restrictions, but please send it again to make sure.

For what it's worth, I was unable to get TBS script to work on GoDaddy. Sure they are cost effective, but their UI's don't compare to the simplicity of cPanel.

Able to install on Hostgator no problem. Can also recommend filezilla as a freeware ftp program.

All I know is hostgator works very well, their customer service is very good.

I have used HostGator for a while now.. They offer a live chat, so why don“t you fly over there and fire your questions?

They will most probably be your best bet in hosting...

I have never had any problems with them and host many many maaany web sites with them...

Check HostGator

Hey Walter,

I did sign up with Hostgater and I must say, they are awesome.  Not only do they allow scripts on their servers, but the customer service has always been excellent.   Live chat is great and when I did call them, I was not on hold forever and the customer service rep. took all the time I needed.

Thanks for the follow up.

Hostgater rocks!!!!
