I run a few Joomla sites and I want to experiment using my newly purchased RSSM feeds on it - I have added a feed reader to Joomla called -  Feed2Post - However

it doesnt like the RSSM generated URL

what would the cause for the RSSM's url - being not readable? ( it does work from a browser )

Ive tried importing http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/entertainment into Feed2Post and it works fine - so its not joomla or the ability to parse the feeds on the Joomla side.

I can only see the issue with being in RSSM's output URL - Since it is unreadbale/INVALID according to the reader.

Which format is the RSS feed that RSSM generates?

here is a sample of the code i get from RSSM
http://MYSITE.com/MYdir/rss.php?source=rss&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.FEEDURL.com%2Findex.php%3Foption%3Dcom_rd_rss%26id%3D4&sentences=1&words=1

any insight would be apprciated - while I experiment some more...

As long as the rssm feed work in a browser, it should be valid. You can also test it in a feed validator. Does that feed2post gives any information about the RSSM feed? Like what exactly does not like about it? Don't they have any support that you can show them a feed and ask what they don't like about?

All the error says that its invalid exact message is:
Please check your feed URL, an invalid RSS can be the cause of this error.

Ill look more but thats what I have to go on now

Make sure all the feeds you try to use are valid and that you have latest rssm files (you can redownload to make sure).

I have the same problem with wrong RSS format and it says XML error: Invalid character at line 157, column 27. Feed validator reports about bunch of errors like:

line 155, column 81: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xa1 in position 13863: unexpected code byte (maybe a high-bit character?)

line 16, column 4: description should not contain relative URL references: /store/click.php?l=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5hbWF6b24uY29tL2dwL3JlZGlyZWN0Lmh0bWwlM0ZBU0lOPUIwMDBWOUNHRVMlMjZ0YWc9dHJ1Y2twcm9kdWN0cy0yMCUyNmxjb2RlPXhtMiUyNmNJRD0yMDI1JTI2Y2NtSUQ9MTY1OTUzJTI2bG9jYXRpb249L28vQVNJTi9CMDAwVjlDR0VTJTI1M0ZTdWJzY3JpcHRpb25JZD0xUlhQMEhLN1JNWlBIMEQ3VjVSMg%3D%3D (147 occurrences)

line 155, column 80: description contains bad characters (2 occurrences)

line 1626, column 0: Missing atom:link with rel="self"

Any ideas how this can be resolved?
thanks in advance for the quick response
