can someone please tell me what the major differences between RSSEvolution and RSSMagician are for someone like me who uses several wordpress sites and needs good auto RSS functionality.

I mean do I need both? Are they more useful together, or can I just get what I need from one of them? Is Eveolution just a more beefed up version of Magician?

Everything is differnent about those two. RSSE is a windows program that generate sites/pages using feeds as input. RSSM is a php scripts that create/manipulate feeds. What you need depends on what you wwant to do. You can use them together or separated.

ok i think i understand.

so i believe magician would be for me.

you see, i use WP-omatic plugin for grabbing various RSS feeds and with cron jobs, it automatically makes posts from them. I choose the specific blog categories i want certain feeds to post in, and it also gives me an area where i can ad code such as adsense which shows up at the bottom of the feed post.

Are these basically all available functions in RSS Magician? And from what i understand, i can do more than just post RSS feeds, but i can grab full articles, and manipulate the text for both articles and standard news feeds?

Help me understand so that I make an educated purchase.

Here is what I would like to do.

I want to specify various RSS feeds from news and blog sites that I choose, have them automatically post into specific categories. One feed would post into Cancer Treatment and several other categories. While a different feed I may want to post into Nutrition, Fitness, and other related categories.

I would like to have the excerpt that is posted from the RSS feed to be slightly different in content than the original feed, but to still be fully readable as I want human visitors to enjoy the site.

I would then also like to be able to add code such as affiliate links, CJ smartzones, or adsense to each post automatically.

I need all of it to work with wordpress, as I use WP for all my sites.
