In Vista you have ti run some progrmas as administrator to allow it to save files on harddrive. But as i know there are no such issues in XP. I never heard of such a problem.. and don't know what to tell you.. You sure you are looking in the proper folder, and not saved somwehere else? Maybe you have a username for XP that has some restrictions?

Well - I installed the demo - tested it - then purchased it

when I installed the paid version and attempted to use RSSE (paid version) I got some sort of "exception error"

ill bet it had to do with a conflict between the Demo on the system and the paid version

maybe that is preventing it from being saved.

I know XP pretty well - and absolutely know the conventions of where files go when there saved - I know for a fact I did not save it in some obscure folder thats for sure.

what should I do next?

Well, the demo and the paid version is absolutely same software. You just put the registation number into the demo and get unlocked.

When did you downloaded the software last time? And was it all working before that?
