There hasn't really been any newer posts in this section, that is why I'm asking this question. I'm contemplating purchasing rss Evolution after having tried the demo for a couple of days. Was just curious how many members are using it in conjunction wiht BS and what type of results are you seeing?

21 views and not 1 reply. I thought the whole purpose of having a forum is for members to share ideas and help each other out. I guess no one is using rssEvolution.

Well it is maby not the most active forum on the net, everyone is bizzi palying wiht there Cs, BS and rssE Smiley
I use CS and rssE alot. Sure CS is still a pretty "ruff" program that is maby not so user friendly. But it can do some magic when used right and some time is put in to it..
rssE, for me it is perfect. the amount of changes it can do is fantastic. it is really the only progam I have found that can do things so good (used togheter wiht CS for example.
I normally create 1-3 ebsites a day. wiht anything from 500 to 5000 pages on it. All unique and human readele content, and wiht the addition of some other samll things in the templates, they are all on auto-update, so it is really a matter of hit the button, upload and leave.. works very good.
It does take some time to get used to al the features, and figure out all its posibilities. And yes there are some changes that would be welcome. But over all it is really really good!

Thanks tomtom,
I played with rssEvolution for a few days with the demo and it seemed like a really nice tool to have. Just wanted to hear from someone whos had a chance to use it for a while and get their opinion.  I'll be purchasing it today. I'm sure it'll take me a while like you said to figure out all the functions and what it's capable of doing but thats the fun part. Thanks again.

I think you did a good buy there. If you have the budget for it, get CS aswell. Drop Omar a mail and make sure that if you buy cs today you will get the new verison for free (it is suposed to be realesed soon..) with the two of them it is really fun!
Dont waste your time on just puling content from search engine feeds or article directories, even if it is tempting.. Make sure you create som HUGE "unit" files so that you really get some uniqe content on the sites.. I use up to 3 different files (unit1-3) each one normally has over 5 000 uniqe sentences/paragraphs. I create thoose using CS.. and then I use CS feeds that I have made to create the "main content" part as well. then I have a little extra php code in my templates so I get auto updated content through other rss-feeds... this all togheter works really good.
Good luck with it all!

Thanks for the tips. I'll look into CS as well. Sounds like you have this down to a science. I'm not quite at that level but I'll keep playing with everything and figure it all out. Thanks again, much appreciated.  Cheesy

Hi TT!

Omar referred kindly to you as having the combo of rssM/rssE almost 'mastered!

Smiley

As a new user, I am trying to learn the ropes and have hit some snags.

What is the MOST efficient way to use rssM with rssE?  Meaning, several things (with questions in the questions!)

- have you found ANY way to generate using rssM with 'open' keyword tags (#keyword#) tha WILL work in rssE? (I know this is not supposed to work, and does not MOST of the time. But I actually "snuck one through" 1 time, and the rssM feed url using #keyword# in the combo feeds area of rssM, actually generated a feed that WORKED in rssE!  But I had used parameters in the rssM setup that manipulated too much of the content, and it was not very natural readable. When I tried to lessen the changes rssM makes, that new url then would not work in rssE!)

- have you found you can generate a good feed url with rssM, and use it in rssE and ALSO use OTHER standard formatted rss feeds (that use #keyword#), and then ALL feeds work (that means the rssM feed works using specific keywords, AND the *rssE* feeds also work, using the keyword list)?

Would you give us a straight forward 'tutorial' with as much detail as you like, in the use of rssM with rssE?  Or is it already posted in the forum?

Can I PM or email you?

Thank you TomTom!

Yeah, I wouldn't mind learning a few tips as well as I'm still contemplating CS and RssE. I like the sounds of them but never done any of the things these products do...never even used an RSS feed on a site before. Saw one of my competitors using rss feeds recently and it's obvious that it's purely for seo.

Tom Tom or anyone else, can you share some of your experiences with RssE (and CS if possible) and let us know the kind of traffic or SEO benefits you're getting as a result?

Keep the posts coming! Wink

Sorry for not replying to this for over a month! Been bizzi playing with new sites!
So I guess by now after a months time in playing wiht rssE you guys know all about it!

I still use rssE and CS as my main content and site builder software.. I still include the rss feeds for auto updating the sites and really, the spider now visit the sites almost daily!
The is a big difference wiht having the rss feeds on the sites so they are auto updating.. sites of same type using same type of content (no, not the same, I use CS so it is all unique..) but wiht out the rss feeds tend to do less well in the index..
So far NO site has been thrown out of Google, just this is quiet an achivment, when using any other programs to built site fast, you can sometimes count a "lifespan" of only days or weeks before it is thrown out..

Favorite tip of the day:
Dont over do it! I built a few sites with 2000-5000 pages on them, and then I did some sites wiht just 200-700 pages on them. I earn the same, and the smaller pages get indexed fully, while the larger once end up with pages in suplemental results in google.. So keep it small for each page, auto updatet sites, and then just get links in to them, no to many in the start as this would raise the eyes of google, just a bit to get indexed and then add on to that..

I will check back alittle more often to see if I can answere any questions..

Now Im gonna play with the rss-magician so I get unique updates daliy to my new set of sites! Will let you know how it goes!

Tomtom
Thanks for your update - very interesting.

Are the rssE sites your "money sites"? If so, do you monetise with affiliate deals or adsense?

Hi crab

I do alot of adsense, it is easy to do, and easy to get an overview of you income, but I do alot of other stuff to, afiliate is great and earns some good money to it, amazon also earns a bit.. I think it is all about getting the right thing for the right site..
As an example, one 5 new sites I made last week I did NOTHING in monetizing on them! i left a few good spots on each site where I can later put what I want.. ( since I am useles when it comes to programming and anything else.. I have to do simple things.. like leave "aff12" in a place on a site. I can then later use a simple "search and replace" tool to change all "aff12" to some adsense code or what I decide to do..).  the ide is that it is easier to get indexed and get some nice free backlinks if there is no adds at all on them in the beginning.. so I can wait, Im in no hurry Smiley
Later when I see how the get indexed and what traffic I get on them I can add some income things to them... I have had some success wiht text-link-adds lately too, it is great when you spen 5 minutes making a website.. 2 hours on getting links spread over a month.. and then later you have PR5 and that site make you an easy 100 usd a month.. it is not much money.. but if you have many sites.. well you know the saying..
And it is good to not only be dependent of adsense...

Tom Tom, i have CS2 and RSSe, still in the early beginner stages working within it. Iwas wondering how this rss feeds for auto updating work.

How the heck do you get 5000 pages (with RSSE ?), and how long does it take to upload them

Thanks
