What do you think?  I happen to be reading The Art of War right now.  Pretty good stuff.  Don't worry, I won't give away the ending Wink.  What have you read that's proved useful?

Great Books,

The 21 Irefutable Laws of  Marketing by Ries
Guerilla Marketing by Conrad
Everything by Seth Godin.

As far as Internet Marketing books on an advanced level I haven't found a good one yet.

Success,
Jason

Let me tell you something actually.  I've got a bone to pick with Seth Godin Smiley

He does have a few unique ideas here and there, but really - he's a master of taking one, unoriginal concept and writing a whole book around it.  I just read Free Prize Inside (actually read it purely because the cover intrigued me, if you know it, you understand - nice marketing on his part).

This whole book can be summed up into one simple sentence.

"Create something valuable AND remember to 'sell' the idea when you pitch it to your peers and management".

Earth shattering?  I think not.

Lol, old thread but i just find this today...Al Ries is good one, his "the death of marketing and the rise of PR" was first marketing book i really love and atm i like Alex Wipperfurth' Brand Hijack. Its pretty useful for setting up mindset in internet marketing, since in internet we only playing with text and templates.
Yesterday i read articles on local magz about how Revlon CEO in 70's who introduce Charlie. I forgot the ol' buddy name, but i love his words;

"We are not selling products, we are selling dreams"

Gotta use that as basic on all my sites...
