Yeah, I've had in ebook in there for a couple of years that brings me a few hundred a month. It's a very cheap product though. Don't know how it works for higher end stuff. They take a pretty good chunk for their end as well on both the sale side and from the issued check if I recall.

How much promotion did it take to get affiliates to pick it up?

Hi Scott,

I found PayDotCom to be much more useful than CB...

Why?

Because you can track affiliates, you can email them, you can create campaigns, you can do sooo much stuff CB doesn't have at all, so i give it all my 4 thumbs up Smiley ... just see my aff sig below

P.S. If you need to talk private.. pm me, i'd be glad to help.

Thnx

PayDotCom are probably better than clickbank but their servers are the slowest on the net. When browsing in their site in hppts it runs slower than cold mollasses.

As for getting affiliates to sell your product, neither Clickbank nor PayDotCom do anything more than list it for you. It's still up to you to go promote it to affiliates.

The problem with your products are that they are good, and the users probably don't want to tell too many other people... assuming they are good.

I don't know yet as I've only just started using them. One thing I don't like is that when I enter an article in BS manually, I have to remove apostrophes from words, otherwise they are replaced with question marks in the published blog.

I have a product in clikckbank, actually I have a few, but only one shows up in the market place.  The others are there simply to use the payment processor, IF the customer can pay no other way.  The problem as I see it with Clickbank is they refund any purchase, no questions asked.  Now, issuing refunds is a part of doing business, but I think there should be a reasonable reason for issuing a refund.  This may bring up some differing view points about customer satisfaction Smiley , as it is always pointed out to keep them happy.  However, when a customer orders a product, and then wants a refund 5 minutes later, saying it doesn't work, well, you know they haven't even tried it yet, they just are refund junkies.  Personally for myself, I bought and installed JV Manager to handle everything for me.  That way I know who bought what, what affiliate promoted it, everything.  I don't have to rely on any other web sites.  I am King of my domain. Cheesy  (I may have a control issue).

I also have products in paydot com.  I seem to have affiliates promoting them, but have never made a sale throught them.  Again, 100% of my sales for those products came from my adwords advertising.  I agree, Paydotcom has the slowest servers in the world.  Seems they just did an upgrade, but they need to another as the last one didn't speed up anything.  As time permits, I am removing products from there and putting them in my JV Manager site.
