Hi Omar, I can't seem to re-upload the storestacker files to a new folder named "store". Since we are not suppose to overwrite .htacess file i did not delete the file or reupload .htacess. I deleted all my previous upload and did a fresh upload of all files except .htacess to the new store folder. It seems that when i move the default .htacess file into the new store folder but it automatically create another copy of .htacess which is 0kb in size -out of the store folder to the public_html root folder. I tried deleting it but it still remain there. After i delete the store folder and reinstall everything to the public_html root directory everything is working normal. Help! I want to rebuild my website to www.mydomain.com/store instead of just www.mydomain.com.

You will need to delete everything from root, and upload from scratch to /store/ (including the 0kb files) then run all install process again. Once installed in some place a store can not be moved around and stil remain functional. If you have content inside the store, just use same database details as first time and it should all be kept.

U mean i have to delete .htaacess file as well and reupload everything to my server? What do u mean use some database details as first time? Do u mean I can access my database later on my sql database....? Right now my store is working fine without the store folder...i still wish to upload into a store section of my domain... One more thing..how do i insert my affiliate link for storestacker at the bottom of the template right after copyright 2008 with the link affiliate store..? Can't seem to find the footer.tpl file..and how to insert the code to it?

I mean delete everything and reuload everything. Files, folders, htaccess, everything. "Use same database" i mean use same database name and username, same mysql details that you used first time when you installed.
You can edit tpl file using ay html or even text editor. If your template does not have a footer.tpl (some of the initial templates does not have a footer, like Clean, Rounded), you need to edit all .tpl files, because the link is ine each of them.

Hi Omar, Thank you so much. I am able to locate and have edited footer.tpl file for affiliate links. I also managed to change the image for those templates that has image for its header after some trial and error, also at this point of time i think I won't reinstall storestacker to a folder /store because i am seeing more and more traffic coming day after day it is growing I'll try reinstalling again sometime soon.. hopefully it work this time around.. Another problem is I can't seem to embed google analytics coding for tracking even though i insert the coding right before </body></html> , tried a couple of other web statistics coding can't seem to work as well. Do i have insert the code on every page of my .tpl file example header.tpl, home.tpl etc etc before </body></html>? But for those tpl file i can't find </body></html> i only see </tbody>. So far I am only able to find </body></html> on footer.tpl it seems. Or did i miss it out? One more thing can u tell me what is Curl? other than googlebot visiting my site, Someone seem to grab my url by this thing or software curl..i checked my statistics and saw that...

You only need to put the analytic code in the footer.tpl, before </body></html>. The footer is common for all files, so the code will show on all pages. Put it there and you will be fine. cURL will be harder to explain. You can search google for it, here is an example or a pretty complete explanations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CURLI am not sure what you seen in your stats, maybe send me some entries examples and can make an idea of what cause it..

Hi Omar, Somehow after seeing curl i was quite often being logged out of my storestacker site when i go to www.mydomain.com/admin.php it will redirect to www.mydomain.com but not to admin interface...something strange going on...any idea? I tried re-upload my admin.php file and i am still being logged out of admin..... Feels like someone is hacking my website by logging me out of my SS site..

Why would some1 logging you out from your admin!? That would be pretty silly, nobody can gain anything from doing that. And nobody can log you out from admin by hacking your site. Everybody is logged out from admin after a while, because login cookies expire.

Hmm..yea i'm silly.. if only you told me earlier on what is CURL, but..you told me you have no idea what is CURL..i've read up on wikipedia before asking you, its too complex for a newbie like me therefore I've asked you for a simplified explanation of what is CURL.I've asked hostgator technical support what is curl and they told me its harmless..anyway..if nobody will be able to hack into my admin.php can u tell me why after two days I'm being logged out of admin? I have re-install my admin.php file and I still can't log into my admin.php..! I've of course consulted hostgator's technical support they told me to clear my cache and i have done that including my cookies..its still not working, Can you give me a solution? Some problem with the php file?

I am sorry, but i don't know everything. As i told you, i don't know what the CURL that shows in your stats is. All i know about curl is public available (see wiki). If the host support said is harmless, they should know better. I also know that if somebody will even hack your admin, the results will be much worse then log you out. You can be logged out because of inactivity, or because many other reason (cookies not get saved, cookies get deleted, because of antivirus software, firewalls, changes in browsers settings and much more). Maybe you can tell me more details about what exactly you are experienceing. Send me admin url and pass too, so i cna try and see if i have same problem. It is very likely to be locally (related with your computer settings/software)

Although theoretically correct - (when you install G-Analytics right before the closing body tag in the footer file) - the software stops working - anyone have a workaround ?
