I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem? On SS product pages, at the top, it is scripted so that you (or the visitor) can capture the RSS feed for the Category. This is not working at all, for me. I am getting error pages... see below. Is this a bug in the SS script? I tend to think so, because it isn't just one of Amazon, eBay or Clickbank.... I'm getting errors for all 3.

These are samples. I went and took one of the products out, and it simply moved to the next one causing the error. The most common error is the "white space" error. The white space error seems to be on Amazon books, while the 'semicolon' error listed below, is a Clickbank item. But, per my final example, the white space error is coming up on eBay items as well.

At any rate, the RSS function is not working.

I cannot view RSS with IE7, however I can view without problem when using Firefox or Opera. Don't know what's causing this problem with IE7.

All feeds shold be valid, as they work with Opera and FF, is either some IE7 bug or some weird thing IE7 needs. Will look to see what needs to make feeds ie7 compatible.

Hi Omar and goldxpress.... Wow. I went into Firefox and the RSS works perfectly. I am on a brand new Dell laptop with windows Vista. And IE7. It has taken upwards of two months to get my work output back up to "normal." Vista is a really hard nut to crack. I literally spend a lot of time researching any software online, before I install anything. Microsoft is a demon. It is utterly astounding to me that the RSS thing doesn't work in IE7. Is this a major bug, or what. Very discouraging. I may go ahead and put a disclaimer on this first SS site (and new ones as well)... addressing this issue, and a suggestion for downloading FF to get the RSS function. yikes.

Anyone else considering migrating to Linux? I am so sick of MS controlling our very lives.... This is not the only problem caused by IE7. And windows mail also has a bunch of problems. Vista? Well, I won't go there. My next PC will either be Linux or backtrack a decade or more and return to Mac.

Omar, if you indeed find a fix for this, I say you are wayyyy ahead of the programming game. All of my computing life... if you can find ways for a "workaround" for Microsoft stupid stuff, you win. If not, then you continue to play their way. With RSS being what it is now on the Net, again I say, I cannot believe it is crippled in IE7. That cannot be a mistake. That means to me, they have something up their sleeve. And it undoubtedly will cost the globe, money.

Sorry for the rant. I despise MS.

Well.. we are researching this issue and see wat can do about. On the other hand, feeds are not made to be opened in broswers. A browser just show you the xml code of the feed. They should be just used to be submitted to rss directories (from marketer point of view) or used with feed readers, either online or computer based (from reader point of view).
