Can anyone help me with this?

When I access my site now at http://akamotorcycleaccessories.com/store/, the store shows the administrative toolbar.

When I access http://akamotorcycleaccessories.com/store/admin.php, I am unable to use Preferences.  I get a blank page with Options at the top.

I've tried deleting the store and starting over.  I've tried re-uploading everything.  I've gone into cpanel and check the MySQL and File Manager for permission changes.   I'm in the dark with this and would appreciate any helpful advise.  Omar is apparently backed up and knowing me, I'll keep at it until I stumble onto the right fix, but then I still won't know how I fixed it.

Thanks in advance.Sad

When I clicked on your store link all I see is your index of/store page so hard to tell, sorry.

If you have note exited totally from your browser after you have login to your store admin it will go back to there even if you have closed the store site, without logging out, and then re-opening your store site.

You should have contacted me before doing anything.. now there is just an error on your store and i am not sure what exactly caused it..

As Craseet said, you may have had no problem, but just not logged out of admin.

Just email me ftp and i will take a look.. hope can fix it..

Thanks Crazeet,

I have been having problems with this since I purchased Storestacker.  Omar helped me get AKA setup; however, I was able to do the EngineGuardChaps.

Of course, I never leave well enough alone.  I kept trying to make changes and ended up messing it all up.

I've deleted the entire folder from ftp and Cpanel, so hopefully, I will be able to start over.

Thanks for your quick reply:o

Omar,

I did email you several times, but never got a reply.  I think I even went online to the support and asked for help.   Probably the email is messing up.

Now, I didn't do that, but from time to time I do not receive email that someone later tells me they sent.

I'm starting over from the ground up.  I do need to ask you how you changed permission for htaccess in cpanel.  My FTP does now allow permission changes.   I use FTP Commander.   I was able to change permission for Common folder, but the other files don't show up in Cpanel.

I learn as I do, so even if I mess up, I'll eventually get the hang of all this.

Really, i replied to all your emails.. i think i have 2-3 from you in last few days. I can post all replies here if you want me to.. though i will need to dig in sent emails to fint it. I though you got them all and these issues happened after that..

You can set permission in File manager too. Click on the folder or file you need to change and in the top right corner should be some link that say Permission Change.

You can also start use smartftp (smartftp.com) as your FTP client. Is pretty nice and good help. Chmodding any files or folders should not be an isseu with them.

Omar,

I believe you about the email.   Don't bother to send them here unless something in there will help me.  I got that one email from you when you first helped me setup AKA.  Then not another one came through.  May be my ISP, as I've had trouble like this before.

Send all email to awisdom22@yahoo.com.  I may need help again.  I'll try that FTP you recommended as I didn't see anyway to change the ftaccess file.  All folders were visible, but not the files.
