I want to change the template background, so I thought all I would need to do was to subsitute the background image that is in the template with my background image using the SAME NAME.  I.e.  template shows bg.gif then I rename my image as bg.gif and upload it to the template images folder.

The background images in this template Gray2 has an images folder.   The template image that I changed is named tall_top.gif and tall_bottom.gif.

I changed both using the same image, but named to replace each of these.

This worked to an extent, but only the top part of my website shows this background.

Looks fine to me. Grey backgrounds everywhere.

Maybe you just needed to hit the refresh button on your browser to see the change?
