Indexed and SERP

Hello, I hear people talking about being indexed by Google?

How does one know when this has happened? Is there a site you can go to and check this out?

Also in relation to the SERP, where do you go to find out if you are listed there please?

Ok, so I see no one bothered to answere your pretty simple q.. Ill give it a go..

Index in google = that google has your website in the possible results when one seraches for the keywords related to your site... simply said= google has viisted your site and have stored your content in there search engine...

How to know if you are indexed?  go to google.. type in "site: yourdomain.com" and you will find what pages google has in there search engine..

SERP= "search engine result page" meaning... search for "cows" in google, you will now get 10 different websites as results on the first page = SERP1 if you look at the results for your "cow" search on the next page in google, then you will find all the pages that are on SERP2.. and so on..
