I have 2 identical links on same page but with different anchor text. I know google will retain only one link for page rank, but I would like to know if the second anchor text will reduce the importance of the first anchor text (for keywords). Thanks.

Me too. I want to know how to get rid of the 2nd link that belongs to another group. I (newbie) must have requested that another link from another group be added = or always added with all blogs. I'm not sure.

I'm concerned about the two links display.

I don't think his question was related with BS, or at least he did not said so. Looks like a general question and generally i don't think 2 links with different anchor and same url can influence ranking alot.

In your case though, you have to check what you have in the linkage settings, and make sure you don't have the situation that you mentioned. If so, you have to fix the linkage settings, so don't get such posts in the future.

To remove the existing links you either need to edit or delete the affected posts, because the links are already added and posts already exist.

Later that afternoon I found in linkage where I had added another link to all the blogs in that group. Deleted that link, all is well.
