Sure, when I build a new site I just put links from my sites (most are on the 1st page of Google) to it. It takes work to keep them at the top. When I am doing a new project they quite often drop a few points. How to get then back up? I use Scriptfire a firefox plugin that allows me to write a post (with links back to my sites) then blog it to my blogs. One after the other. I love wordpress but always run 6 or 7 blogger.com blogs. Right you got it Google owns (is) Blogger. As soon as you post a new post to a blogger site it usually gets indexed within hours.  Try "Akha hill tribe products" in google. The top 5 or 6 are mine.
By picking a unique Domain name like my http://XanDreams.com I get the whole page full with mine. Right you may ask who is going to type in XanDreams? That's what my 20 Blogs do. Get the name out there and all link to my sites.
