What % of the time you spend on your sites do you spend getting links?

Content comes first...

But Links (and quality links) comes 2nd.

This is where I spend the most time

There is a major breakthrouh on linking coming
soon that is very interesting. It is sort of like the
short lived blog and Ping, but WAY better and it will
have a longer shelf life if it is used with integrity.

Tag and ping is being heavily marketed on a lot of forums lately. Can you shed any light on it? Does it have anything to do with posting comments on others sites, then having them pinged?

I never bought Tag and Ping because I saw it as ridiculously overpriced for what it was. My theory was that a cheaper version would be available before too long... and I was already using Technorati tags anyway.

... well, it's now 4 weeks later and here is is... it's called Tagging Secrets.

And it's only $47

well there are options

But tag & ping has a live forum just like BS and is giving away over 300 bucks worth of bonuses!

package called Seo cash cow $197 and "Content And Linking Secrets" (a $127 value) Cheesy

this is well worth the money a lot of insider info!

get the right one.

I don't care how many $1000 eBooks they give away with it... bottom line is this... IT COSTS TOO MUCH and is JUST NOT WORTH $147... period!

Everyone got a nose just like an opion!

But if you have not tried Tag & Ping you do not quailify to give one!

So ebook bonuses they are not.

what those bonuses are and there are many in producing traffic and real linking structure!

i have found most valuable

so go the less expensive way it's up to you no one said you have to purchase.

May I suggest http://linksdealing.com? 100% free -- so I guess that's not an affiliate link.  I just started using them, so too soon to report search engine benefits. You get lots of one-way links non-reciprocal -- the php they provide is kinda smart about that.

You can control the cats linking to you, etc. You add itty bitty code where you want the links to appear.

After about a week my best site has 978 links pointing at it. I'm aware that these are not high PR links, but the basic gamble, as I see it, is that one or several of such a bunch of websites will eventually get to the high PR zone and a handful of valuable links will come out it.
Quote

define('LDCLIENT_FILE', './private/ldclient.php');
//on some Apache servers (depending on httpd.conf) the
//$_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] value is not correct
//in those cases you may need to modify the define statement above,
//providing a fully-qualified path to ldclient.php
include_once(LDCLIENT_FILE);
//to display linksDealing HTML code immediately
ldclient_links();
//or, to get linksDealing HTML code as a string variable
$myvar = ldclient_links_str();
// ... and some time later display it...
echo($myvar);
?>

upload a directory with five files in it. CHMOD 4 of them to 666-- and you're good to go. Helps if you disallow that directory in your robots.txt file -- in the sample above the directory is  named "private"

Sample of the sites you link to:

"Injection Molding | Floor Heating | Dating Service | Medical Field | Equity Home Loan | Home Gyms | FlooringInjection Molding | Floor Heating | Dating Service | Medical Field | Equity Home Loan | Home Gyms | Flooring "

Worth a look.

PS - I'm new to Blog Slution. Will be doing the install this weekend.

If Scott or one of you checks out the site please share your thoughts.
