The new function for organizing categories is great.... is there a chance a similar function could be coded, to organize the left menu for Navigation? It would be nice to be able to alphabetize that list. I've added a number of extra pages, but there is no order to them. Again, I could manually do this, by deleting and re-creating them in alpha order. Very time consuming. And it would have to be done again, every time you decide to add a page. Thanks for all the great work!

I am looking at the admin area of my site.  In the preferences section there is area to sort by price, newest listed, etc.  Where would I find the are to alphabetize the categories?   Am I missing something

Thanks,

Rick

It's right under the sort by price newest listed etc,(Sort Products) ... Categories sorting, providing you are using the latest upgrade.

If you're talking about site navigation like Home - Search - Privacy etc they can only be sorted by the order you add them.

It is always important to spent time planning your site before you build it, this way anything that will be added to the site navigation menu (not product categories)will be in the order you want it in.

Apart from Home and Search (these 2 are already there on the templates) anything else in the navigation menu is either hardcoded or has the title of one of the pages (using the pages function) you have created. It's not such an issue with hardcoded navigation links as you can place them in the order you want in the template. With anything created with the pages function they will appear in the order they were added, so add the navigation links you know you will use and just put Coming Soon on that page and edit as the need arises.
