Cafe Press Plugin

Although Cafe Press is offered through Commission Junction, I would like to see a separate plugin. The reason is that from what I understand about Cafe Press on CJ is that they only offer about 600,000 products. There are over 20,000,000 products offered through Cafe Press, it's a very lucrative affiliate program at 15 percent, and you can also create your own products to sell.

I own a premium Cafe Press store, as well as a Cafe Press script I bought to allow we to create my own custom store. The truth is, I'm not happy with it because I don't think it's seo friendly, and I'd like to offer my designs, as well as others' designs within my SS site.

Thank you for what you've done so far. I really love the script. Everyone who has seen my sites told me they look great and I believe that I'll make a lot of money with them.

BTW, Presto Gifto, http://www.prestogifto.com, offers a free plugin for Wordpress, as well as php/javascript you can use to integrate Cafe Press into your sites. Might make it easier for you in developing a plugin.

A Cafe Pres plugin could be possible, but i am not sure i understand. You need a Cafe Press plugin outside of CJ ? To have more products then they make available through CJ?

Yes. CJ doesn't make the whole Cafe Press catalog available. If, for whatever reason, you want products that aren't available through the CJ feed, you're out of luck, or you have to go directly to Cafe Press.

I want my Cafe Press products inside of my SS. Right now, I'm running a script inside of a directory, but I don't really like the script. Not very search engine friendly.

I just think that will 20,000,000 products available, eventhough Cafe Press is part of CJ, it should still have its own plugin.

We are looking into it. Looks like Cafe Press has a separate api, beside the feeds in CJ. We are looking to see if can use that to pull products and build affiliates links. You will though still be paid through CJ and need to be approved for Cafe Press there.
