Auto Variable Conversion and Synonym Database

Two features I think would really helps us out would be:

1. Auto Variable Conversion

It would be really great if we could just paste our text into CS and get it to automatically check synonyms for each word, so that it adds the [brackets] for us.

And obviously, we'd still be able to manually add, remove, modify [variables] as we do now.

This would save users a lot of time, especially if they're using a lot of source text.

Which leads me to:

2. Central Synonym Database

Now I know I'm probably pushing my luck here, but I think another timesaving feature would be a centralized synonym database all CS users could contribute to and also use within CS.

Maybe on the [Variable] section you could add an "Add Synonyms to CS Database" checkbox which would then send the synonyms in the background to the DB after clicking the Save Variables button?

Then it would be just a matter of either having CS automatically update its local synonym DB with the latest version on the server once a week or have users manually download it so we can update it ourselves.

Just my 2 cents.

Your #2 suggestion looks cool.. we have to see how can be done, if can be done.

As about #1, have you tryed to use semi-automatic project link?

It kinda does what you say.

At step 2 you just paste a list of SB or even sme articles, add some titles and links manually, and then when u click "Go to next step" CS will automatically chouse the [variables] and suggest synonims for the ones that have synonims.

Then follow all stept to complete the project, and later u can come back and edit anything

That's great. Tick one off the list

I realise the the programming for a central synonym database might take a little time, but I really think it would be good for CS users and would also increase the value for CS, which should translate to more sales.
