Okay, I've run to a standstill on extra pages. The only way I've found to organize content on main pages and categories, is to use the top content and bottom content areas of the tool, to code an image specific to the category. In other words, this is a logo/image that states the name of the page. So, in my hotel web site, the category page would be like Bed & Breakfast. I use the Top Content box and recode the main category template so that the Top Content is where I need it to be... which is above the 2nd google ad. It sits above the site title and taglines. (see below) ... So I have a logo image and then the site title and taglines.

However, in the Pages template, there is no way to do this. Short of hard coding all of my extra pages, I don't see a way to do this.

Omar, if you would add the Top Content and Bottom Content to the Pages options, this would add a lot of functionality to the Pages.

Here is how I've got this coded on the main Category template and it works wonderfully. However, there IS no option in the Pages template because Top and Bottom content is not an option up in the tool:

{$category.top_content}

{$site.title}

Here's what this does, on Category pages:

I need to think about how this should work. However, you can add anything to static pages, including direct html code (by first check the html source box). So you can edit the pages after creation, check source mode, and put whatever you want wherever you want.
