Hi omar, can i know how can we have our store load up as the homepage? www.example.com instead of www.example.com/store

During installation of storestacker on my server, i've created a folder named store, not sure what can I name it as my homepage?

Do not create any folder. Upload directly in the domain root on your server (usually named public_html). You will need to wipe this install (folder), reupload in the root and run install again from the root. You can use same database details.

Ok i have done what you suggested without any creation of folder and upload the file to my server public_html and edited the permission on common, hta access and sitemap xml, for common i typed in 777, same goes for hta access, and sitemap. however after all that when i try to see my website, it said it is unable to read my index.php on line 0.

Just wondering if it is the cause of the install files?

i have seen hta access and sitemap file and the size is 0 kb. for index.php it is 31kb. I can't see where the problem is, i've asked hostgator for help they told me it is the problem with SS scripts, theres an error. Anything i can do about this?

now it is appearing this:

Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 436, whereas the Optimizer expects 2 in /home/axxxxnx/public_html/index.php on line 0

Didn't that worked when you installed in the /store/ first time? Or i am missing something? Because if it worked when you uploaded in /store/ it should also work when u upload in the root.
