The link I get for the rss feed from CS2 with my unique data doesn't work when I put it into RSSEvolution.  I don't know what the PIN is that RSSE is requesting.  Is that set in CS2.  I tried to export CS2 content as text so I could use it as text units, but got a 414 error when clicking on the resulting link.  I'm not sure how to open the file after I save it onto my system.  How do I generate a valid RS feed that will work in RSSE and how can I open the text versions of my rewritten content so I can use the text in RSSE and BS3?  Is there a RSS feed tutorial for CS2?

What exactly does not work when you put the CS rss feed in RSSE? It say feed is not correct? It accept it and not generate content?

If you are using CS2 you should just copy whole link that CS generate as a feed and add it to RSSE using Manually add feed and not specific CS feed menu, that is for older CS1 feeds that had a cutom user set pin.

You tried to save as plain text or as text files in a zip? And i am not sure what the problem is, you say that you got an error when tried to get the zip, which may be related with the server settings, but you also say that you don't know how to open the file after you download it. So did you managed to download it? It is just a zip file and you unzip it like any other zip file.

CS only generates valid rss, but it depends how exactly you build your project and how you try to add/get the text. CS feeds are just like any other feeds, is othing realy special about them, just that you own it. You can read here though about how to build your projects towor better with BS/RSSE

If you still have problems send me an email with access to your CS and details about what you try and what not works and i will check it out.

Thanks, Omar.  When I try to put the feed into RSSE I get the message that the feed in not correct.  Also, when I saved the text file, it saved as a .csa.  I didn't save it as a zip.  Let me go back and try that out.  But I still don't get why the rss feed isn't correct.

I would need to se the feed you tried to add. And to tell me how exactly you tried to do it.

As about the export, you seems to export some CS settings, not the content. To export the articles/content you need to use the bottom links in the content, rewrite or markov tabs.
