Hi all,

I just bought CS last week. Tried to play around with it and trying to get a hang of it.

So This week I wanted to do real stuff. But there seems to have some problem.

1. When rewriting article, I will auto find thesauri. but when the find is over there is an "error on page". I couldn't save the changes.

2. I also tried to export ".txt file in a zip" but when I tried to DL the article, It return a "No such file" page.

any one of you encounter this before?

regards,

1. Some files may been corrupted on upload. I need access to cs manage area to check and maybe ftp access.

2. CS uses a unix command named "zip" to create the zip files with the articles. On some servers this command is not enabled by default (although is not a command that can have any security issues)

You should contact your host support and tell them that you have a script that needs the unix zip command active. They should be able to enable it and everything will work

I have export it before and it works but when I tried again, I give me a no such file.

Thanks

Well... that may be weird, but is all working for me.

I went to one of the articles that was no edited, i added some variables lookup synonyms, they where grabbed, i saved changes, evertyhing worked.

It must been working for you too because i seen you have 3 or 4 articles taht you edited and added variables with synonyms nd where all saved.

Sometime those error on page warning from IE can be false alarms, you should lower the reporting level on javascrupt error (not have that window pop all the time)

As about zip export, it worked for me. I downloaded some articles both as text and hrml files in a zip. If you said it used to work for you too, it may been some temporary server issue but as of now, i could not make it show me that error. I can try again if you tell me step by step how you get that error.

Thanks omar for helping out. I will try it out again. I guess it's the browser I'm using.

I'm using firefox with IE tab. I will try it with IE first.

Thanks again.

Hi Omar,

It seems like a intermittent problem.

for rewriting manually, it's fine. but when I tried to automate the process, It's not working. I get error. here is a print screen of the error click here.

As for the export, like wise. it works on some article but not on some.

I can see you tried on "Buy Email Marketing List Free Helpful Article" and it works. It's work fine for me too. But when I tried to export "Advertising Email Marketing Online Helpful Article" I get "No Such Page" massage. Here is the print screen click here.

Could you please take a further look at it.

Thanks,
lamy

You may have some browser or local issues. I tried everything you said in different browsers and i haven't got any error.

When you say local issue, do you mean local computer? Cos I tried on different computer, it's the same.

I will tried again and let you know.

Strangely... It's working fine now with IE, But not with Firefox. NVM I will use CS with IE then. As long as it works.

Thanks Omar!
