Still a work in progress. I want to change the header and template. But first I got to figure out how to do that. If anyone out there can give me any pointers on that I will appreciate it.

I had some prolblems getting my site to work at all. Omar gave me  much needed help on that. THANKS Omar!

You're welcome.

The template you are using has no image header.. some templates only use text titles. You should select another template in Preference, one with an image header before try to change it.

Just curious, what template are you using for this site?

Omar:

Which templates allow one to put a header and footer graphic in the template?

Thanks,

all templates have a header and footer. That does not mean all headers use images, some are just text. I don;t know each of them in particular, but if you select different templates you will see which use header image and which is just text

Jack,

I'm quite impressed on the layout of your website.  Just wondering, how did you get your rss feed on the landing(home) page? That is something I would like to incorporate on my site.  Thanks.

Sepia
Just go to the homepage edit, enter the number of items to show and in the "only items from category" field, select articles. Then click "save."  That should do it.

Sanvald,

I used the "redstore" template as it has a header. I created my own template and then replaced "header.jpg" in the redstore template folder with the header.jpg that I created.

Nice site
You might want to correct the spelling on the left menu bar, it says Googles i assume you meant to say Goggles

I noticed your Alex ranking has dropped from 2,430,451 to 3,224,277 which indicated not much traffic, so maybe you want to work on the marketing.
How are you doing with adsence ? I would suggest changing the background color of your G-o-o-gle add to be the same grey color as the rest of the block it is in.

Good luck

Hi Jack

What's happened to your SS store? The domain name seems to have expired.

I am wondering why quite a few of the stores posted in these threads are no longer in operation - is it because sales have been slow or the site has not taken off at all, or the owners have lost interest in operating it?
