I think I need to do some more work on 'prettying up' the store, but would appreciate any comments on my efforts so far.  My store is at www.rebornnewborn.com - the subject won't be to everyone's taste  Embarrassed(it's a small niche I'm targeting)!!!   Grin

Cheers,

Heather

That site looks pretty good. I hope all of the people realize how powerful this site looks. My first site  a year and a half ago still requires a lot of work on my part as my products turn over rapidly. I will shoot video and tie in blogs, but that is alot of work, weeks at a time. If anyone want's to see how a site looks building it the old fashion way can go to www.silkflowerboutique.com
Thanks

Mark;

That's exactly what a lot of us need, a video showing how to tie in a blog to the store and any shortcuts you know of that can allow us to modify the site easily.  I bet some of us would be willing to pay for a quality tutorial like that.

Cheers,

Rick

What an interesting niche!  I didn't even know that stuff existed.  I actually like the look a lot.  A suggestion, maybe add a light grey background to it.  That would define the page a little better rather than not being able to see the "edges" of the page.  Take  a look at www.alpineskigear.net/ski-gear-store for an example of a dark background.

Hey Rick, I hear ya on the tutorial.  However, wordpress has one of the easiest (and best) data managment systems out there and all you have to do is link to your store.  Now that said, it really helps to know how to manipulate your server files and folders.  I am completely self taught (which is why I recently had a huge reconstruct.......but its all good).  I can give some basic advice on css style changes too, but maybe if you had specific questions on changes there would be others too.

Anyway.  Looking great everyone!

Good Looking store - the only thing I noticed was the Product Title was right up against the picture - maybe a spacer between the pic and the title.

I didn't even know this stuff was out there. Are you able to track when you make sales?
