You can not use wildcards subdomains and cpanel subdomains same time. They conflict one with the others. If you setup BS with wildcards, and you have added some blogs, but still get an error when try to access those blogs, some of the wildcards settings was not done properly. Either the NS part or apache part.

hi, i'm very new to this blogging business, so please bear with me

i have the tbs v.3.1 lsa, i thoroughly red and followed your installation instructions both from the site and the user manual

my domain is not wildcard enabled, and i am allowed only 5 subdomains

installation worked smoothly until i wanted to open the operations center and i was being forwarded to a small orange window with an input field...i imagine i was supposed to put the password there, which i did, except that the orange window keeps refreshing as if i pressed F5

i'm stuck at this point and i get frustrated because i don't yet understand very well this wildcard implication on the installation...is it not working because i don't have wildcard enabled domain? i must add that i have created a subdomain manually

and more...since i'm allowed only 5 subdomains does that mean that i can only install 5 blogs altogether?

i'm sorry for this long post and thanks for your patience, but i really need some helping hand, i would very much appreciate it

regards,
claudia

We could not make it work on Windows servers, this is why server requirements say Unix/Linux only.
