I asked my host to activate the catch-all subdomains and they told me they've done it.

It seems to be working but when I create a new sub-domain based blog I get the cpanel 'default' page ...

"There is no website configured at this address.

You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site."

Do you know what is wrong?

I'm not a server guy, but assuming you've got it installed according to instructions make sure the host did both the apache aliasing and the dns aliasing. Also check your .htaccess file. But it really sounds to me like they set just the apache or just the dns, but I could be wrong on that...

Thanks Dane I'll investigate further. Looks like DNS problems to me.

Just a quick follow up.

It was the apache config. My host informed me they had updated apache but they had forgotten to uncomment the entries

I went into the shell, un-commented and now everything is working great Cheesy
