Hi.

I thought it would be a good idea to release this before the script.
We have made an online help system for v2, instead of that build in help from v1, because it will be easier to manage it and keep it up to date.

http://halfagain.com/knowledgebase/users/kb.php

The design is not a top class one, is just basic one.. we will change that as soon as possible. For now the most important are the articles inside.

Feel free to post in here any other questions/help topics that you want covered.

Have you changed out the templates with V2 templates? I ask because of the link in the template article point to the current template folder.

Is this an appropriate place to post help questions about the the help docs?

After looking at the docs one question I have is about the links (blog links and posts links) - are those still to be added one by one? Looking at the docs it still seems to be that way.

Cos if I'm using my BS as a spidering engine, I'd possibly want to rotate about 1000 links at one time.

Yes or No, pls let me know.

... If no, another way might be to use a 3rd party script and php include that to the BS blog...

I guess is a good place to ask.

You can add mass links at once for posts. The links that will be added at the end of each post, on posts pages.

You will be able to use a special command, "fetch", that works similar to php include command. You can use that to parse rotating links (or any other html output) in the blog indexes or also in the posts pages.

I am still workig on the help article about fetch command.

Omar that sounds great thanks.

When you have time, as you did for version 1, could you also say a few sentences about which buttons or actions take the most server resources?

That's a question on many people's minds.

I think I said that multiple times, though not in this thread.

V2.0 is too much difefrent from v1.0 and can no be upgraded while keeping blogs form v1.

You can only install it on new domains, or replace your v1.0 installs, but it wil NOT preserve the current blogs and posts.
